The Mediation process allows for the individuals to have more control over the outcome as opposed to litigation which puts the decision making into the hands of others not familiar with your situation.
Jan holds a Certificate in Conflict Resolution with a further Specialization in Family Mediation from the Justice Institute of British Columbia with over 300 hours of training specific to Mediation. Jan has also advanced her skills in this area with additional training in the Child Centred Continuum Model and the Meeting with Children Model to facilitate separation/divorce Parenting Plans that incorporate the best interests of the child.
